KASE Cares: Athletes for Africa
Sports are more than just games—they provide community, structure, and leadership opportunities through which young athletes grow into capable adults. This is especially true and important in developing countries such as Africa.
Since 2004, Athletes for Africa has been using sport as a tool to drive education, leadership, and character-building. Their efforts are focused in Malawi alongside grassroots programs for youth and communities region-wide.
At KASE Insurance, we recognized the value of their work and wanted to do our part by supporting them financially—this is how we show we care!
How KASE Got Involved
KASE Insurance founder Stanislov Kojokin grew up a school athlete in an immigrant family. While he’s outgrown his playing days, he hasn’t lost his love for sports or lost sight of the value they provide to children in developing countries.
Stanislov and the rest of our team were motivated to help Athletes for Africa continue their work by providing financial support. Now in their twentieth year, we remain inspired by how their volunteer-led programs continue to change lives. The donation we made will help them provide further opportunities for children across southeast Africa.
Soccer, Africa’s most popular sport, is often known as the beautiful game. While there’s beauty to be observed in the way players express themselves on the pitch, the game’s true beauty is in its incomparable ability to unite communities.
How You Can Give Back to the Community
If the work of Athletes for Africa has motivated you to get involved, the program is always accepting donations from those generous enough to give. Even a small donation can go a long way towards helping a young athlete in need.
